Lost Your License Key?

If you can't find your license key email, you can request the key again with the email address you used to purchase.

This retrieves the license key. It does not retrieve the separate 24-word library Recovery Key or restore missing recordings. See Encryption Architecture for library recovery.

Recovery Steps

1. Open License Recovery.
2. Enter the purchase email address in Email Address.
3. Choose Send Recovery Email.
4. The page shows Check Your Inbox. If a license exists for that address, an email with your license key arrives shortly.

The page shows the same result whether or not a license exists, so it does not reveal which addresses hold licenses. The recovery email contains the key but no activation link; see Enter the key manually.

Didn't Receive the Email?

If the page shows Too many requests. Try again later. or We couldn't send the email. Try again later or contact support., no email was sent; try again later.

Check spam/junk folders

License recovery emails come from license@parrotscribe.com. Check your spam, junk or quarantine folder, and allow that sender if your mail filtering holds external messages.

Verify the email address

Use the exact address from your purchase. If no license matches it, you receive an email saying no license was found. Common causes:

• A typo in the email address
• A different address from the one used for purchase
• A license bought under a colleague's or a shared purchasing address

Still not working?

Contact support with:

• The email address you believe you used
• The approximate purchase date
• Any order number or receipt you have

Contact support also if the email says no license was found but you have one. If you hold more than one license under the same address, the email contains only one key; ask support for the others.

Prevent Future Issues

• Store the license key in your organization's password manager.
• Keep the purchase email where you can find it again.
