Session Viewer

Session Viewer is where you inspect transcripts, verify details, and extract what matters from recorded sessions.

Start in Library

Use Library to find the right session first.

Library sessions list with sort and filter controls

  • Filter by source and session attributes
  • Sort to bring recent or relevant sessions to the top
  • Select a session and open it for detailed review

Read in Session Viewer

The default viewer layout is optimized for focused transcript reading with timeline context.

Session Viewer default transcript reading state

In this view you can read the transcript while listening back to the original audio from the same session. This is the fastest way to validate key statements, quotes, and decisions before sharing notes.

  • Use playback controls to listen through the meeting in sequence
  • Follow along in transcript text while audio plays
  • Keep timeline context visible so you can jump to the right moment faster

Navigate transcript context

Each session is made up of transcript segments with assigned speakers.

Move through segments as context shifts during a conversation.

Session Viewer transcript variant with alternate focus

As sessions get longer, navigation matters more than raw transcript length. Session Viewer keeps you oriented while moving between segments.

Use timeline + transcript together to quickly verify what happened before and after a key segment.

When speaker labels need cleanup, this view lets you pick a segment and assign it to the right existing speaker - or mark it as a new speaker.

Control playback pace

When reviewing fast exchanges, adjust playback speed and keep transcript focus on the active segment.

Playback speed controls let you choose the right review pace for the task:

  • Slow down when accuracy is critical
  • Speed up when scanning familiar segments
  • Keep transcript focus synced to what is currently playing

Playback speed options include 0.5x, 0.75x, 1x, 1.25x, 1.5x, and 2x.

Speaker-aware follow-up

Session Viewer works directly with speaker tools, so you can clean up identities and keep future retrieval reliable.

Speaker attribution with identified speaker selected

When a segment is assigned to the wrong person, you can reassign it to the correct speaker from speaker tools. This improves transcript quality now and helps keep later search/summaries trustworthy.

  • Review uncertain segments with audio playback
  • Reassign segments to the correct speaker when needed
  • Keep speaker labeling consistent across sessions

For detailed speaker lifecycle behavior, see Speaker Recognition.
