To stop a session, click Stop Listening in the menu.

After You Stop

After you select Stop Listening, the transcript is saved. People you have not named may appear with generic labels such as "Speaker 1".

When Retain audio recordings is enabled in Settings > Output > Audio Retention, Identify Speakers can open automatically or be opened from the menu bar or Library. See Speaker Recognition for the naming workflow.

Accessing Sessions

Use Show Library... from the menu bar dropdown to access all sessions, transcripts, and speaker tools.

Session Duration

There's no fixed maximum session length. For a long call, use New Session when the topic or context changes. Separate sessions are easier to find and review.
